How to export your trades

Log in to your Tradovate account at trader.tradovate.com

Click on the "Account" tab in the top navigation

3

Select "Reports" from the dropdown menu

4

Choose "Trade History" from the report types

5

Set your desired date range using the date picker

6

Click "Export" and select "CSV" format

7

Save the file to your computer

Note: Tradovate exports include all futures trades with entry/exit prices, P&L, and commission data. Column headers may vary slightly by account type.

Topstep / TopstepX

Log in to your Topstep account at app.topstep.com

Navigate to the "Trading" section in the sidebar

Click on "Trade History" or "Performance"

4

Select the account you want to export (Trading Combine or Funded)

Set your date range

Look for the download/export icon (usually top right of the table)

Select CSV format and download

Note: Topstep uses Tradovate as their trading platform so the CSV format is similar. TopstepX may have a slightly different interface — look for the Reports tab in the dashboard.

NinjaTrader

Open NinjaTrader on your desktop

Go to the "Account Performance" tab at the bottom of the screen

Right-click anywhere in the trade list

Select "Export" from the context menu

5

Choose "Trades" as the export type

Select your date range

Choose CSV format and click Export

Save the file to your computer

Note: NinjaTrader exports from the desktop application, not the web interface. Make sure you are viewing the correct account and time period before exporting.

TradeStation

Log in to TradeStation Web or Desktop platform

Click on "Account" in the top menu

Select "Reports" then "Trade History"

Set your date range using the calendar

Click the gear/settings icon for export options

Select "Export to CSV"

Choose your save location and download

Note: TradeStation exports may include options trades which show differently than equity trades. The app will handle mapping these correctly.

TradingView Paper Trading

Log in to TradingView at tradingview.com

Open a chart and click on "Paper Trading" in the bottom panel

Click on the "Positions" or "History" tab in the paper trading panel

4

Look for the export/download icon in the top right of the trades table

Select "Export to CSV" or "Download"

Save the file to your computer

Note: TradingView paper trading history may also be found under Account → Trade History

Note: TradingView paper trading exports may use different column names. Use our column mapping step to match fields correctly. Only closed trades with P&L will appear in the export.

Interactive Brokers

Log in to IBKR Portal at portal.interactivebrokers.com

Go to "Performance & Reports" in the left sidebar

Click on "Flex Queries" or "Activity Statements"

Select "Activity Statement" for a comprehensive export

5

Set your date range (custom period recommended)

Under "Format" select CSV

7

Click "Run" to generate the report

8

Download the CSV file when ready

Note: IBKR exports can be large and complex. We recommend exporting one month at a time for best results. The Flex Query option gives you more control over which columns are included.

MetaTrader 4 / MT5

Open MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 on your desktop

Click on "View" in the top menu bar

Select "Terminal" to open the terminal window

Click on the "Account History" tab in the terminal

Right-click anywhere in the trade history list

Select "Save as Report" or "Save as Detailed Report"

Choose CSV format if prompted

Note: MT4 saves as HTML by default — open in Excel and save as CSV

Note: MetaTrader exports can require an extra step to convert from HTML to CSV. Open the exported file in Excel or Google Sheets, then File → Save As → CSV format.

Match-Trader

Navigate to the "History" or "Account History" section

Select your date range for the trades you want to export

Look for the Export or Download button in the top right

Note: Match-Trader is used by many prop firms and brokers. The export location may vary slightly depending on which broker or prop firm you use with the platform.

Rithmic / R Trader

Open R Trader or your Rithmic-connected platform

Go to the "Trade Reports" section

Select "Filled Orders" or "Trade History"

Set your date range

Right-click on the data table

Select "Export to CSV" or "Save to File"

Choose CSV format and save

Note: Rithmic is the back-end used by many prop firms including Apex, Topstep, and others. The export process may look slightly different depending on which front-end platform you use.

Sierra Chart

Go to "Trade" in the top menu

Select "Trade Activity Log" or "Trade Statistics"

Right-click on the trade list

Select "Export to CSV" or "Copy to Clipboard"

If copying to clipboard, paste into Excel and save as CSV

Alternatively use File → Export Trade Activity

Note: Sierra Chart has multiple export options. The Trade Activity Log gives the most complete data including entry/exit prices, times, and P&L for each trade.

Tastytrade

Note: Tastytrade exports include options trades with full details. Options trades will show as separate legs — use our column mapping to correctly identify the P&L column.

Webull

Look for the download icon in the top right of the orders table

Select "Export" and choose CSV

Note: Webull exports order history rather than trade history. Partial fills may show as separate rows — the app will handle consolidating these during import.

thinkorswim (TD Ameritrade)

Choose "Export to .csv"

Note: thinkorswim exports are very detailed and may include many columns. The column mapping step in our upload flow will help you match the right fields.

Power E*TRADE

Note: Oanda exports forex trades with pip values and account currency P&L. Make sure to export in your account base currency for accurate P&L figures.

Das Trader Pro

Note: Lightspeed is used by active day traders. Exports include execution-level detail. You may need to aggregate partial fills manually or use our column mapping to handle them.

Note: TradeZero is popular with short sellers. Export includes locate fees and borrow costs which can be mapped to the commission/fees field.

MotiveWave

Note: Coinbase exports all transactions including buys, sells, and transfers. Filter for only completed trades when uploading. The P&L column may need to be calculated from entry/exit prices.
